In 2013, Kavita’s life changed forever when a jilted lover attacked her with acid, leaving her with scars that ran deeper than her skin. Orphaned and with her father remarried, Kavita was left to fight her battle alone. But even in the face of overwhelming adversity, she refused to give up.

Today, Kavita has built a life of resilience and hope. She is married and the proud mother of two children, dedicating her days to caring for her family. Kavita also works from home, crafting beautiful bangles and earrings, which she sells to support her household.
